Dr. Hemal Patel, certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology, is a General and Esophageal GI practitioner at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage and Delnor location. He conducted his Undergraduate and Medical Education at the BJ Medical College in 2004 in Ahmedabad, India. He completed his residency and fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital and Wayne State University. Outside of being a doctor, Hemal Patel is also a clinical assistant professor at the Feinberg School of Medicine, a Northwestern University Graduate School, and has written numerous research papers. When he’s not working, Dr. Patel is a huge cricket enthusiast and also loves to travel. He enjoys spending time with his family and two kids as well.
